# Acquire a first target

The complete source is included below.

```powershell
python -m nextastro_obs_client.examples.single_exposure --ra 12.5 --dec -30 --target "Student field" --filter V --seconds 5 --count 2
```

Takes ownership, slews to the supplied hours/degrees and returns two saved raw FITS paths. Choose a target and filter for your observatory; the coordinates here illustrate argument syntax. Raw write completion is acknowledged before the command returns; reduction and upload continue separately.

Student extension: Print image.statistics() and compare requested seconds with the actual recorded exposure.
